What’s Your Cat’s New Year’s Resolution?

Now that New Year’s Eve has arrived, many of us are thinking about our New Year’s resolutions. And whether you’ve resolved to change your lifestyle, spend more time with your cat, or just be a more playful person, we were wondering – if your cat had a new year’s resolution, what would it be?

It can be funny or serious, playful or meaningful, but what one thing would your cat resolve to do differently this year? I think my cat Wellington would resolve to stop sleeping on his mommy’s pillow (right by her head) while she’s trying to sleep.

What’s your cat’s New Year’s resolution? Let us know in the comments section below.

Lucy: I resolve to stop pulling thumbtacks off the bulletin board and using them for toys. It apparently hurts when Mom and Dad step on them. Spike: I resolve not to scare all the birds and chipmunks in the neighborhood. Skinny: I resolve not barf on the floor at night. Mom and Dad get annoyed when they step on it. At least it's not a thumbtack.

My name is Gentle and I am 23 years old. I have a few resolutions to offer this year as inspirations to others of the Superior Species. Yes, "Cats Rule." I will share the recliner with my Mommy more. I further resolve to keep Mommy busy cleaning my kitty box, providing yummy food and special treats like yogurt and avocado. I further resolve to take my pet purple stuffed dinosaur on his daily walks and talk to him to keep him happy, too.

I, Patches, resolve to let Mommy know I love her. My Daddy is the one I love the most though. Mommy thinks I hate her, but it is all a put on. After all, she did buy that new miniature bed for me, and put all them sweet quilts on it for me.

I Madelyn Grace will try this new year to not make everything about "ME". Although this will be difficult. I will refrain from getting in the middle of conversations and people who visit my mom and dad. I will not make them pay attention or talk about me, or lay in the middle of where ever they are and show off my fit body and beautiful voice. I will also try not to sing in the aquarium room at night, although my voice echos and sounds great!

Hi. My name is Cookie and I am my Mommy's lil' baby. My half sister, Twix and my daughter, Musky live here too but I know I'm Mommy's favorite. I love my mommy very much and dont like when she goes to work. I miss her so much that I will go around crying "mommmmmmy" over and over hoping she will hear me & rush back home. So my resolution would be not to make a big deal when she's gone because she always comes home.

Our mom is a night nurse so we love to sleep with her in the daytime. Sometimes we get a little carried away & fight in bed. We'll try not to. We also like to party all night while Mom is at work but we know she hates coming home to a mess, so we'll try not to mess up the house. Our most important resolution is to get even more hugs, kisses, treats & belly rubs from our Mom - she loves us more than anything. Happy New Year to all the cats on this board. mY 'BOSS'CATS NEW YEARS RESOLUTION I AM SURE WOULD BE TO STOP 'MAMA' FROM BRINGING HOME ANY MORE SISTERS AND BROTHERS FOR the 15 CATS THAT ALREADY LIVE IN 'COTE HAVEN'TO HAve to share space with. O' course mama did the basement all over when the kittens were born and we all get along on the whole, but you know we kinda worry that this good livin could wear out if she keeps addin cats to the population. She is warm enough with us all, and she takes good care of us, but enough is enough.
