More about Me: I am the author of seven books on cat behavior and a former Board of Directors member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, where I’m currently the Founder and Chair of the Cat Division for that organization. I am the cat behavior expert at Yahoo! I’ve written countless articles for popular magazines and scholarly journals and was the behavior columnist for Cats magazine, The Daily Cat and ivillage. You can usually catch me on television (with a cat in my arms) in one city or another, talking about my favorite subject…CATS!
I run a private veterinarian-referral behavior service, Cat Behavior Associates, LLC, which keeps me on my toes on a daily basis as I work with clients trying to solve their cats’ behavior problems. I’ve been doing cat behavior professionally for over 20 years. The most rewarding part of my job is when I see the relationships grow stronger between cats and the people who love them.
