I'm a writer for the agency behind Friskies.com and a lifelong cat lover. A blog about cats was probably inevitable, and when Friskies offered me the chance to contribute to this one, I jumped. My own cats, Pluto and Saturn, are a never-ending supply of amusement, snuggles and stories.

Why “Saturn”? His belly is ringed with stripes. Why “Pluto”? He’s black and white—dark and icy—and, well, a little gassy.
